Child Honorees
Each year, as part of the Jason Schweinberg Memorial Classic, we make a wish come true for a child that is courageously battling CHD. Understanding how CHD’s affect the entire family, both financially and emotionally, we wish to put a smile on the child’s face and bring something special into these family’s lives. If you would like to help in sponsoring a child’s wish please contact Cathy Schweinberg at cschweinberg@aol.com

MGM Studios.MGM Studios was a big hit for Ben and family. They enjoyed meeting many
characters and eating at the Pizza Planet from Toy Story.

2007 Paige
Paige was born with single ventricle, pulmanory stenosis, av-canal, transposition.
She had numerous surgeries, many with complications. We were informed one week before the golf outing that she was going to be hospitalized for yet another surgery. Surgery was set to
be on her 7th birthday so her family planned an early party. We decided to attend her party and present her surprise wish. Paige had a love for dolphins so she was presented with a vacation to Discovery Cove in Florida where she would be a trainer for a day with the dolphins. We will never forget how excited she was with the thought of being with the dolphins. Her smile lit up the room.
Paige had her surgery in September 2007 which again produced complications. She remained in the hospital many months with ups and downs and she continued to fight. Sadly, Paige lost her
fight to CHD's on February 1, 2008. Her family will be taking the trip in honor of her. She will
forever be missed but our memories of her will remain in our hearts. Paige enjoyed hello kitty,
tacos, the color red, eating dinner with her family, swimming, and Nascar's Kasey Kahne. She had fight, spunk, sensitivity, and her family was always the first priority. It's amazing how such a
young girl had the wisdom and courage that most adults strive for.
Paige will forever be swimming with the dolphins.
